The Studio

Built in 1929, this early nineteenth century Bungelow style home, now, home to Ken Sykes Photography, is conveniently located a ½ mile from Interstate 85 on N. Main Street in Archdale. We are 20 minutes from downtown Greensboro and Northern High Point and only 10 minutes from Jamestown and Thomasville.

The unmistakable period detailing of our studio home and expansive front porch evokes a sense of country charm that will make you feel right at home. We use the architecture of the studio, as well as the 2.5 acres of tree covered lawn to create a setting for your portrait that is truly unique to us.

Each wall displays beautiful portrait design ideas to stir the imagination, educate and equip you to tastefully incorporate our portraits of your family into your home. We also sell unique photo jewelry by Isabelle Chase, photobags by Snap Totes and Eric Scott Company, to name a few.

We use state of the art technology in every area of our business, including a touching slideshow set to music that will move you to tears. Bring or email us a digital image of the blank wall(s) you are considering placing your family portraits. Using our new Prevu portrait software, we are able to display your favorite pictures, in coordinating frames, to scale, using the image, taking the stress out of making just the right choice.

Our address is 10233 N Main St, Archdale NC 27263
